Class Descriptions
Pre-Beginner
This class is for our tiniest dancers age 3-4. Pre-beginners focus on listening skills, basic movement activities and games, and learning to count to music. (Class may be combines with Beginner A based on enrollment)
Beginner A
This class is for new beginners age 5-7. Dancers focus on basic foundational Irish dance technique and learn their first soft shoe dances including reels and jigs.
Level B
This class is for new beginners age 8+ and returning dancers who have graduated from Beginner A. Dancers continue to work on foundational skills while learning all 4 soft shoe dances and have the option to begin hardshoe class.
Level C/D/E
This class is for Advanced- Championship dancers who have completed the required dances and foundational skills in Level B – Instructor recommendation required.
* Classes operate in SW and SE Calgary out of the Bridlewood Community Center (All Levels) or Parkland Community Center (Beginner only).

KidSport supports children who need financial assistance with
sport registration fees and equipment costs.
If you need assistance in paying for your child’s classes please speak with your instructor directly. We will be happy to arrange a conversation to help make dance a part of your child’s life. All conversions regarding finances will be kept strictly confidential.
